Restaurant Vrh Beograda opened its doors back in 1989, as one of the rare real family restaurants at the time. At the beginning of 2019, the restaurant was completely renovated, with the idea of ​​combining traditional and modern style.
It is located in the heart of the Zvezda forest, in a completely isolated part from the noise of the city, and only 4 km from the city center. It is located at the highest point of Zone I of Belgrade (250m above sea level). In the immediate vicinity of the restaurant are the Belgrade Observatory, the Science and Technology Park and the turnpike for bus 65. The restaurant has one of the most beautiful gardens in Belgrade with a capacity of 150 seats, and 80 seats in the hall. It is a perfect place for organizing celebrations, family or business lunches. There is an open and closed children’s playground within the restaurant.
The quality of food and service is best expressed by the ratings of our guests on the Internet. We don’t know what to recommend from the menu… Breakfast – scrambled eggs on toast with prosciutto. Lunch – kebabs in a sauce of bell peppers and cream. Dinner – ram steak marinated for 7 days. As an aperitif, be sure to try our 10-year-old local plum. Our wine list consists exclusively of products from Serbian wineries, with over 30 different labels.
The menu is a fusion of local and international cuisine, which in a broader sense shows that Vrh Beograda follows the most modern trends in catering.
From the very rich selection of breakfast, which the guests adore, where you can spoil your taste buds with a forest breakfast or maybe salty or sweet snacks. There is also an omelet of your choice, as well as a homemade sandwich. More precisely, the epithet “homely” is synonymous with the Top of Belgrade. The relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and professional approach are even reflected on the internet as the restaurant has a rating of 4.6 in google reviews which is quite high and reflects the quality.
The offer for lunch is varied and interesting. Those who like lighter tastes can choose one of the salad meals, and for meat lovers there are smoked drumsticks, specialties such as stuffed steak, ramsteak or spicy pork ribs. The personal stamp of the restaurant is hidden in the dish that is for you if you have come as a couple or in a larger group – the gourmet board. This dish contains several dishes – smoked drumstick, chicken skewers, sausages stuffed with cheese and, as a highlight, cevapa in a sauce of roasted peppers and cream. This is a must-try because it disarms any foodie.
Vrh Beograda is also a place of good brandy and wine. Ten-year-old native plums from the Arilje area can only be drunk here, and the house wine is the best quality wines of the Virtus winery. All wine tickets are from Serbia. And when you’re craving something sweet, Vrh Beograda has a solution for that as well – a mascarpone tart that makes a perfect combination of crispy crust, light filling and fruit. Those who love chocolate must try the cake of three chocolates – white, dark and milk of the highest quality Belgian chocolate combined in this irresistible delicacy.
