Restaurant Daro Bistro

It all started in November 2011, when my culinary blog was born. I called it fkusno because I always like to change something. I take recipes as a challenge to find the thing that can be made better and tastier. Sometimes it works. We truly believe in Chef Gusto of Ratatouille’s motto – “Anyone can cook”.

My culinary pursuits led me to the first season of Masterchef, shortly before that came the position of deputy editor-in-chief of GoodFood magazine… Then came the work at the restaurant “Before 10” where I learned a lot and gave a lot. The biggest recognition from there are the two awards of Bacchus magazine “Restaurant of the Year 2016” – the Audience Award and the Special Jury Award for preservation and development of traditional Bulgarian cuisine.

And so, on August 15, 2016, Restaurant Daro was born- our modest and delicious place at 20 Angel Kanchev Street in Sofia.

We are currently undergoing renovation and reconstruction, we expect to reopen in September 2022. Completely renovated Daro Bistro, with a new menu, furnishings like home and of course, the same uncompromising quality and the same friendly attitude.
