The Epicurians considered food to be one of life’s great pleasures, and we must admit that a delicious meal, well-prepared and presented in a high-class setting, based on the idea of an open plan contributes to the appreciation of the discussion, giving you the energy you need after a strenuous day. The waters allow us to respect this diversity of forms and gustatory intensities by calling only on our ingenuity, from the most common mackerel to the most beautiful arachosta.
It all started from the moment when two friends, Lepadatu Daniel and Dragan Sorin, thought of writing a culinary story with fish, in three acts, where they invite those who cross their threshold, to a unique and perfect culinary experience combined with a fluid architecture, full of light and transparent. This is restaurant Blue Acqua in Iasi.
The organic architecture of the restaurants in Galati , Iasi and Mamaia represents a combination of natural elements with the serving areas, in a perfect symbiosis that mutually enhance each other.
The asymmetric open-plan groups are a characteristic of the design applied by one of the owners, Sorin Dragan being in love with organic forms and nature, continuously developing a concept in which he filters the light and punctuates the colors, creating a coherent and seductive ensemble for tasting.
The central terrace of Blue Acqua offers privacy to those who cross our threshold, eliminates the separation from the interior and exterior space, thereby reaching the maximum freedom of expression for those who taste our dishes, and at the same time preserving harmony with the surrounding environment.
With the passage of time and the evolution of culinary techniques for preparing fish products, from smoking the products to marinating them, the owners thought of transporting the wild fish to more distant areas, to satisfy even the most demanding gourmets.
Today, fish has conquered a leading role in Romanian gastronomy, recommended by dieticians and nutritionists for a healthy and balanced diet, in which the consumption of fresh fish brings solid values ​​at the nutritional level and, at the same time, it is a light and tasty meal.
The owners of Blue Acqua had the initiative to take advantage of the wealth of wild freshwater fish and opened the first restaurants, where they gathered classic or traditional, original and innovative recipes, which they later combined with other certified organic products, in a taste explosion with seafood and other wonders from the shores of the Mediterranean.
Freshwater fish is not inferior to the delicacy of meat, on the contrary, intelligently cooked in sauces, grilled or grilled, boiled or baked, it is much more interesting from a gastronomic point of view and is indicated in all menus.
And precisely because we have it in abundance, taken directly from the fishermen on the banks of the Danube, we can delight our taste buds with the most refined dishes or the most common recipes, using exclusively extra virgin olive oil, olives picked from the hills Tuscans or vegetables grown organically by Romanian farmers from the surrounding area.
From the most banal breadcrumbs to the most refined lobster, the waters let us call only on CREATIVITY, to highlight this multitude of shapes and taste intensities.
