Ouzeri tou Laki

Laki’s authentic Ouzeri has been located in Victoria Square for 30 years. The ouzorie was opened as a cafe by Lakis Lambrou in 1984. In its first phase, stews came out of the kitchen at noon and mezes at night. Of course, since Laki’s son Giorgos took over the shop, keeping his name, you have many good reasons to become a regular patron. It pulls you to sit down, if only to hastily drink an ouzo and enjoy a small snack. The shop reminds you of an old ouzo which brings back childhood memories, glass boats-lamps hanging from the top, life preservers for decorations and small frames with the many tributes that have been made for this restaurant. Those who love seafood know very well that in Victoria Square there is always a place where they will find the best and most delicious fish. And don’t think that for Lakis the dishes are just a pan. Both George and Anna love experimentation and creative cuisine. They think of the new dishes together, cook them, taste them, make the necessary changes and when they are ready, they serve them on the tables to see the impressions, hear opinions and be 100% sure that they can add them to the menu. Laki’s Ouzeri serves mainly fresh fish from Kymi and you should try saganaki with shrimps, anchovy sofrito, lasagna with herring, pikeperch and salachi, wonderful feta with a crispy semolina crust with sweet and hot tomato jam, shrimp pasta, but the dish that a must try is cuttlefish pasta and its ink with a rich flavor and creamy texture.
