Avli tou Defkaliona

Avli tou Deucalion is the legendary tavern of Heraklion, Crete. It is located in the square behind the Historical Museum of the city and has a tradition of more than 20 years since it has been with us since 1993, when Deucalion Markopoulos started this tavern always with the valuable help of his wife, Maria. It offers local Cretan dishes in an environment reminiscent of old taverns from decades past. In the summer, the food is also served outside, opposite the museum square.
