Πεύκα (Τα) (Πεύκη)
The history of the Ta Pefka tavern in Maroussi begins in 1919, while for the last 25 years its management has been taken over by the Apostolou family. Its name is not accidental, because, apart from being located on the Amarousiou-Pefki border, the yard of the old single-family house is surrounded by pine trees. The cuisine is Greek and emphasizes grilled dishes. Among the most well-known and favorite dishes in Pefka are the milk veal steak, as well as the kokoretsi kontosouvli. The tavern is a trademark of the area where half of the country’s artistic and political world has stopped to eat. Don’t forget to try the tavern’s specialty, the amazing grilled milk veal.
