Micraasia

Micraasia is one of the first oriental bars in Athens that established itself as an ethnic restaurant. Micraasia opened in 2002 and showed its own alternative way on the ethnic entertainment map, in Gazi! It is now fully renovated and based on a concept similar to tapas bars. The difference is the decoration of the place, which has a clear influence from the East but with a New York mood. Micraasia seeks to accommodate people who enjoy yesterday’s values in today’s lifestyle and entertainment! Those in charge tried to preserve the historic space that belongs to the owners’ grandparents since 1926. Thus, a Smyrna cabaret was created in a cosmopolitan environment, simple and accessible.
