Dionysos Zonar’s
Dionysos Zonar’s Restaurant in the shadow of the Acropolis is perhaps one of the most historic restaurants in Athens. With a panoramic view of the Parthenon and the Conservatory of Herodes Atticus, it offers unique flavors of Greek cuisine in a modern rendering. Dionysos Zonar’s menu has been edited by chef Poris Vassilis and includes dishes such as veal carpaccio with confit vegetables, pickles, Cretan graviera and rocket, seafood dako with marinated anchovy and vinegared octopus, avocado cream on carob dakaki, pastormad pies on aromatic yogurt, stewed veal with potatoes and eggplants, moussaka and more. In addition to Greek, Dionysos Zonar’s restaurant on the Acropolis also serves classic restaurant dishes of international cuisine such as Chateaubriand with mushrooms, béarnaise sauce and fries, sea bass fillet with wild fennel risotto, rib eye with roast potatoes and asparagus and many more. The desserts also stand out, crepes suzettes, hot galaktobourek and ekmek.
